The Compensation Scheme of Securities Trading Companies (EdW) processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the general data processing principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU (Regulation) 679/2016 - DSGVO) and complies with the statutory provisions of the DSGVO and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

1. Information on the processing of personal data through the use of the website
If personal data is collected via the EdW website, EdW processes it for a specific purpose and in accordance with the statutory provisions.In principle, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and a right to object to EdW. 2. What data does EdW use?
We process personal data that we receive when you use the EdW website, in particular when you use the contact and upload form. The personal data we process are primarily personal details (name, telecommunications data).
For technical reasons, certain personal data must be collected and stored when you visit our website, such as the IP address, the date and duration of the visit, the web pages used, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used and, if applicable, the website from which you are visiting us.
Personal data collected for technical reasons are not analysed by EdW and are therefore no longer available for further processing.

3. On what legal basis does EdW process your data?
We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), namely on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e DSGVO, the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other applicable legal regulations.
